About Me

My name is Sydney.

There are three very important things to know about me and this blog.

1.) Sarcasm is my native language and I swear like a pirate (much cooler than a sailor). Prepare yourself.

2.) I like drinking wine. A lot. Like a lot a lot. Like drinking wine is my favorite hobby. Besides reading of course.

3.) My posts on this blog are sporadic. I work full time as an event planner, have an adorable husky named Harper that I spoil to death, and a living, breathing, time-taking up, hunkalicious husband. So I apologize for sometimes spamming the blog and sometimes ignoring it completely.

Even though I am well into my 20s, I live for Young Adult books. Scifi and fantasy is my bread and butter and most of my reviews will come from within those genre. I also have a thing for dystopias because the world building in those stories are the most unique and interesting and I salivate over diving into alternate universes. I have an epic crush on all things Jane Austen and an obsession with the Tudor era. I also believe I was some kinda of royalty in my past lives because I spend way to much time dreaming about being a princess from years ago.

Sarah J. Maas is my favorite author of all time. Not just because she’s a freaking amazing author, but she’s an awesome human and I drool like sloppy dog over her writing.
